You could call this the Pro Touring project of Roadkill, in a way. “Blasphemi!” they will say, but what industry has been has also known for Corvette-swapping old junk? We’re just bringing a new level of craftsmanship to the party. Of course, #becauseroadkill, this 1956 Buick Century was buried deep in thorny vines and shrubbery. After Freiburger and Finnegan liberate the Buick with gasoline-fueled implements of destruction, a 1976 Corvette C3 was hacked to free it of its, full-frame, fully-independent suspension chassis. While the late C3 has been the unloved step child of the Corvette community, you can bet this episode will still make some skins crawl for the keyboard.
Fear not, because the resulting machine is way too cool to ignore. The Roadkill ramp truck hauled both the Buick and the C3 chassis back to Finnegan’s shop, where the C3 frame was stretched after the Buick was hollowed out.
Plus, you get to see why cut-off wheels are affectionately referred to as death-wheels, with the introduction of guest-Roadkiller Jeff, from Devious Customs! Of course, Roadkill tends to play with wheels of death in every episodes.
