Drag Week 2016, presented by Gear Vendors, Modified Power-Adder class winner Dan Saitz has proven that his turbocharged 1994 Ford Mustang is truly one of the quickest street cars out there, closing the season out with a win at the eighth-mile Street Car Super Nationals at The Strip in Vegas. Saitz took his Precision-turbocharged Ford small-block-powered Fox to the top of the Vortech Outlaw 8.5 ladder, winning with the class with a final run of 4.741 at 158.09 mph to defeat George Raygoza’s 1968 Nova!

Saitz is true to the street car title, winning Drag Week 2016’s Modified Power-Adder class two months ago against Rick Prospero’s 1990 Mazda RX7, and its turbocharged big-block Chevy. These guys were trading top honors in the class throughout much of the week, but Saitz sealed the class with a week-long average of 7.668 at 182.05 mph.
