All Nick Anvelink needed was show up to capture the first ever DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour Championship. All he did was put forth another dominating performance on the way to his fourth A Main win.
Anvelink jumped away from fellow front-row starter Brett Swedberg and held off several advances throughout the feature. The greatest threat to Anvelink’s chances came under a yellow flag when he slowed to go around the cause of the caution and Swedberg made contact with his left front. Neither cars suffered significant damage and they went on to a one-two finish.
