1933 Ford 5W Coupe | Joe Bond Olive Hill, KY

The sinister look drew us in, shaped by the perfectly chopped top and the laser straight panels. Performance backs up the look in the form of a tri-power fed, 427 Ford stroker motor and a Tremec five speed. A chrome front axle from Pete & Jakes leads the way while out back a quick change rear is located under another P&J buggy spring. Interior highlights include brown leather and Classic Instruments. Coker tires and ET wheels complete the wicked look. Every bit of this car was owner built, fabrication, paint and upholstery.

1933 Dodge Sedan Delivery | Dickie and Sally Wolfe Berryville, VA

After building several Mopar muscle cars the Wolfes decided to step back in time and build a vintage Mopar. Starting with a good original sedan delivery body they went about building a chassis using Fatman IFS up front and Chassis Engineering out back and Wilwood brakes on all four corners. Inside the delivery smells better than a new baseball glove thanks to the fine leather upholstery. Under the hood the 318 is dressed in 340 style. A push button 904 tranny handles the power at the touch of a finger. Even the paint color is from a Chrysler. Billet Specialties wheels are wrapped with Goodyear rubber.

1932 Ford Roadster | Susan Gonzon Newark, DE

Historical hot rods are red hot. This Deuce roadster was originally built in 1951 in Dallas, Texas by Jiggs and A.D. Trowell. The team were famous racers who also owned Trowell and Turner Automotive. The roadster is a great blend of Olds88 and ’32 Ford. The rocket engine and hydro pass power to the Olds rear. Many handmade parts remain on the car including the nerf bars, gas tank cover and dropped headlight bar. The body is channeled five inches with a shaved decklid and filled cowl vent. Inside the clean and simple roadster you’ll find traditional black and white Naugahyde.

1939 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery | Kenny Kemper London, KY

The Sedan Delivery has been a big part of hot rodding for a long time. This rare ’39 captured our attention with the brilliant, yet subdued House of Kolor blue paint. Under the hood a ZZ4 GM motor is fed by a Holley throttle body injection, while a Lokar selects the gears in the 700R tranny. RideTech coilovers provides the stance and Wilwood calipers can be seen behind the twenty-inch Billet Specialties wheels. Inside Vintage Air, Classic Instruments and yards or rich leather provide comfort and style and the beautifully modified dash and custom console complete the interior.

1932 Ford Victoria | Larry & Karen Henderson, Waynesville, OH

A Deuce Vicky needs no body enhancement. The top was chopped from the factory and the lines are perfect. Add laser straight panels, a proper stance and you have a timeless hot rod. Larry Henderson did every bit of the work in his home shop and we bottom side is as nice as the top. A 350/700R combo motivates the Vicky and that stance results from a Pete & Jake 4-inch dropped axle up front and Aldan coilovers out back. Inside red leather is done in rolls and pleats while the dash if filled with SW gauges. Wheels are gennie Halibrands up front and Rebel Americans on the rear, completing this stunning package.

1956 Chrysler | Glen Dailey, Ona, WV

This car is truly a marriage of two Chryslers fifty-years apart. Virtually everything from a 2006 Charger SRT 8 was grafted into this car. Under the hood you’ll find a 6.1 Hemi that is detailed to perfection. Both the front and rear suspension are also 2006 SRT. The twenty-inch Sport Muscle wheels are wrapped with Kumho rubber. Inside the car the entire dashboard from 2006 Charger was employed, including the steering column, console shifter and bucket seats. The two-tone black and brown leather interior provides the perfect contrast to the PPG Ruby Red exterior. And here’s the best part, this is a 100% homebuilt car.

1932 Ford Sedan | David Floyd, Hokes Bluff, AL

Good as gold, this Deuce Tudor has just the right look for a timeless traditional hot rod. The BASF color is true base clear, candy gold base topped with clear. From the flush-fit roof insert to the megaphone styled headers the boys at Big Oak Garage got it right. Under the hood a warmed over Y-block is fed by a trio of carbs and a T-5 grabs the gears. Wilwood brakes, a dropped axle and RideTech shocks provide the stance. Inside Classic Instruments monitor the vital signs while leather covered buckets are surrounded by engine turned stainless inserts and “rolled and pleated” aluminum panels.

1932 Ford Roadster | Tommy & Claudene Vlah, Chesterland, OH

Nothing is more traditional than a Deuce roadster and a flathead V-8; after all, they were made for each other. The team at Precision Hot Rods began with a Brookville steel body and mounted atop a chassis of their own design. Pete & Jake hairpins locate the dropped axle while ladder bars and a Model A spring suspend the rear. The engine is a 1946, 276 cu. in. Flattie topped with a McCulloch supercharger. This is coupled to a T-5 tranny. The paint is PPG Audi Grey. Rolling stock is from Wheel Vintique while Coker rubber meets the road. Inside is a study in simplicity with Oxblood leather covering a bench seat.

1940 Deluxe Coupe | Dave Stitzer, Carlisle, OH

The incredibly straight body panels and stance drew us in for a closer look. The stance is compliments of an Art Morrison G-sport chassis and Billet Specialties wheels under the Robert Weeks prepared and painted body. This car is all about details like the split front bumper and subtle nosing strip down the hood. The more you look the more you find. Inside bright red leather covers the bucket seats and Classic Instruments handled the gauge insert. Under the hood the LS3 fills the compartment with power and style. The guys at Gear Headz Hot Rodz nailed this one.

1941 Willys Americar Coupe | Mike Braswell, Santo, TX

This coupe is a study in packaging and contrasting finishes. This example is built to handle and take to the open road. Front and rear suspension is from Detroit Speed while Baer brakes find a home on all four corners. Schott wheels measure 18 X 9 up front and a whopping 12-1/2 X 19 on the rear. Under the hood an LS7 displaces 427 inches and a Legends five-speed grabs the gears. The mile-deep PPG black paint provides attitude. Inside the leather-bound buckets and five-point harnesses continue the performance vibe. Classic Instruments fill the stock dash.
