OEM Tools

01. Cool Shop
A comfortable work environment contributes a lot to how much you enjoy working on your classic truck. Installing air conditioning in your shop or garage might not be practical, but OEM Tools has an alternative. The 24886 2,500-cfm Three-Speed Evaporative Cooler uses a 1/5hp three-speed motor and is capable of cooling a 750-square-foot area for as long as four hours. The oscillating design provides cooling across a wide area, it’s lightweight (45 pounds), and has heavy-duty casters. Long-lasting cooling pads are designed to provide enhanced airflow and cooling, using much less energy (and costing less to operate) than air conditioning. The tool tray top includes cup holders. For more information contact OEM Tools at (800) 457-0600 or www.oem-tools.com.

DEI

02. Hold The Heat
Eliminate the problem of radiant heat from your mufflers raising the temperature inside your cab. A new Muffler Shield Kit from Design Engineering helps keep your interior cool. Constructed of 10-mil dimpled aluminum with an 1/8-inch needle glass insulator, the DEI kit not only provides comfort but also protects components from the effects of high heat—and looks good as an additional bonus. Each kit includes a 42×24-inch shield, which can be easily trimmed to wrap around practically any typical-sized muffler, plus two 40-inch heavy-duty 4 304 stainless steel positive-locking ties to hold the shield securely in place. For more information contact DEI at (800) 264-9472 or www.designengineering.com.
